Development update - Save and load System


Major Aspects:

- A major component that was  implemented in "love me not", was introducing a save and load system to the game.

- Having this system allows the game cooperate other components to  such a the " the love metre"  to give the audiences a sense of progression.

- Implement this system did came with major issues, especially trying to bind unity with Ink ( dialogue system ).


Challenges:

- A major challenge when creating this system, was  telling the  system  which  data  needed to be save in order for the game to run. This task is especially time consuming, since different data requires specific functions within C-Sharp, therefore majority of development time was spent on this section.

- A part from the previous challenge, there were no specific issues apart from general bugs such as grammar with the code or remembering to assign each objects with the correct script.


Future Development:

- As of now is fully function. There are a few cherries on top that could be implemented to improve the general performance, but that will depend on the schedule.
